The capital of Slovakia is one of the visitors favourite city, because of its' culture, museums, beautiful monuments and ever so great festivals all year long.
There are a lot of amazing places in Bratislava that both first time visitors and newbie locals must see.
Slovakia is famous of its’ very old university, called Academia Istropolitana, which is built in 1465, but people also can visit the Napoleon’s Army Soldier Statue. A special attraction is the Bridge of the Slovak National Uprising, because it has a restaurant at the top of the bridge. It is also known as UFO Bridge or Navy Most. Furthermore, turist can watch the Bratislava Zoo, the Slovak National Theatre, the Slovak National Gallery.
Just as the May Festival and the Hockey World Championship is over, we already have plenty of fun ahead very soon.
WHAT IS NEXT
One of the most famous events is called Slovak Food Festival. Visitors can try different tradicional food, and enjoy special programs. The biggest picnic in town. This is what the Slovak food festival held at the Bratislava castle is called. Free entry for everybody makes it a must-see plac.
Bratislava also organize the Viva Musica! Festival which is the most popular international summer classical music festival in Bratislava. Every year, thousands of people visit the city, because of the amazing concerts.
In late summer the streets of Bratislava’s Old Town will host the biggest city festival Craftsmen Days ÚĽUV (Centre for Folk Art Production). Traditional crafts and homemade products, which are the main attraction of the festival, will be presented by the craftsmen through direct demonstrations and you’ll be taken back to the rich history of Slovak crafts. Craftsmen Days ÚĽUV are very popular among the youngest as well, so if you’re planning to visit Bratislava with your children, it’s definitely worth combining your trip with this event.

Organisers recommend that the participants of downtown events leave their cars home since the parking will be limited. People can get to the festival on foot or take public transport easily.

Dear Clients and Associates,
At Home Budapest decided to make the responsible choice and restrict it's operation during the outbreak of COVID-19.
We are convinced that it is a choice that benefits everyone's health and will help us get through these difficult times sooner.
In the meantime, many of our services are still available. For those who are interested, give us a call on +36 20 262 7864.
Regarding the property visits in this period, our company offers three different options:
During the visit, the owner and the realtor stay outside while the inquiring party views the property (wearing a mask, rubber gloves, and of course, not touching anything). After the tour, the realtor and the owner answer any emerging questions, all while strictly keeping a 2 meter distance.
We set up an appointment for the property visit, in which the realtor is not physically present - instead, they join the rendezvous via facetime or videochat. The visit itself goes by the same routine as in option 1: the inquiring parties enter alone, all while keeping themselves to the necessary precautions.
The inquiring party is not physically present, instead, our realtor gives a virtual tour via facetime or videochat.
We will do our best to stay healthy and stay safe so we can bounce back to normal as soon as possible - so should you! Wash your hands regularly, disinfect everything, and most importantly, #stayhome!
