The Moscow International Business Centre –Moscow City- is to be a new addition to central Moscow, situated in the Presnensky District on the third ring road, as part of the ongoing intensive development of the Moscow area.

The goal of the MIBC is to create a zone, the first in Russia and indeed all of Eastern Europe, where business, residential space and places of entertainment can be found side-by-side, making it a city within a city. The project was first conceived by the city council in 1992.

The one kilometre-square MIBC is being built on Krasnopresnenskaya embankment, the only area in downtown Moscow that can accommodate such a large-scale project, which is today occupied by old factories and industrial complexes.

Residential development
